About the artist and the album:
UNO is a self-titled album produced by Corrado Bacchelli, released in 1974 by the Fonit Cetra label. It is the only album by the Italian progressive rock band of the same name. It was recorded at the legendary Trident Studios in London with the collaboration of singer Liza Strike (known for her work on Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon). After this release, the band broke up, and singer, flautist, and pedagogue Elio D'Anna (Naples, Italy, 1946), along with brothers Danilo (1949–2021) and Corrado Rustici, formed the jazz-rock group Nova.
Enzo Vallicelli, an Italian drummer and composer (Forlรฌ, Italy, 1951), dedicated himself to session music (with Gianna Nannini and Eugenio Finardi). In the 1990s, he turned to blues, founding, among other things, the Vince Vallicelli Band.
