ReplyDeleteAlmost Abandoned is the only album released by the British rock band Dragonfly, issued in October 1974 on Retreat Records. The album cover features photography and design by the iconic design collective Hipgnosis and Peter Christopherson.
A blend of folk, progressive pop, and rock, produced by Derek Lawrence and Big Jim Sullivan. The title track was also released as a 7" single with the B-side "Gondola".
The band featured several notable musicians who were active in the UK session and rock scenes during the 1970s.
The album has become a collector's item for fans of 70s UK rock and was reissued on CD in 1992 by the Line label with bonus tracks.
