ReplyDelete"Meet Me On The Corner" is a single by the British folk-rock band Lindisfarne, originally released on 7" vinyl in February 4, 1972 in the United Kingdom by Charisma Records (pink label, solid centre). Produced by Bob Johnston. Reached #5 on the UK Singles Chart.
The song is the opening track of the band's second studio album, Fog on the Tyne (1971), which became the best-selling album in the UK in 1972. "Meet Me On The Corner" remains Lindisfarne's only song to win an Ivor Novello Award.
